Came here Friday night with some friends. Reservation is highly recommended as this place was packed when we got here. Since we had reservations we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and professional. The place also looked a cool hangout spot. They only serve Beer and wine for alcoholic drinks. They have a good selections of pizza. Food was tasty and delicious. 4/5
Tucked away behind Bristol Farms in Yorba Linda Main Street is this upscale bistro that not only offers wood-fired pizzas but also entrees and wine that you would find at high-end restaurants. The prices reflect it too, but you do get quality food and great service which. It's worth treating yourself once in a while. My family and I tried the BBQ pork and sweet potato Pizza which I loved. For an entree I got the Bolognese which had good sauce but the pasta itself was too al dente for my tooth. I would have liked it softer. For dessert we shared the brioche Bread Pudding which is my husband's favorite dessert and the reason we came. It did not disappoint.
something about their pizza crust is just like, yeasty and divine. it was so good. you can see the giant brick oven open in the corner of the restaurant. this restaurant was a little hard to find at first. my map kept redirecting me to different plazas (first across the street where the chili's is and then into the lot with the bristol farms). this is on the small side street right outside the bristol farms area. there was decent street parking and a lot of outdoor seating. i saw my party waiting for me so the hostess let me just walk in. the heatlamp situation outside is ideal and i felt nice in my date night dress without a coat. my guy had a class of red wine while i ordered a peach bellini. we shared an appetizer of the mac and cheese (so crusty and savory), and each got a pizza. i ordered the wood-roasted chicken and he got the prosciutto di parma. my pizza was awesome and so flavorful. they offered me freshly grated parmesan cheese and each bite just melted in my mouth. we got port for dessert and that was a nice little finisher. we came for date night but while there, i noticed two families having dinner (one with young kids), a girls' night, and a birthday party celebration. it was such a nice mix of patronage.
I thought this place was really good. Service was attentive and polite. We ordered the ceviche appetizer and it was delicious. We also order 3 different pizzas, the chicken bbq, margherita, and fennel sausage. They make them in house which is amazing. As you walk in to the indoor section from the check in counter outside, you can see the cooks kneading and stretching pizza dough! I also ordered their house margarita which was good but not enough alcohol haha. Overall this is a nice place for groups or girls night. I meat 2 of my friends here and we really enjoyed it.
First off, when walking up to the restaurant you can already appreciate the warm welcoming ambiance. To my fault, I didn't consider my niece and nephew (babies) in the dinner party reservation and made a reservation for 4 people (yes I know babies are considered people, but in the sake of adult chairs vs high chairs), and should have been clear with the fact 6 people were coming to dine in. But no worries, there was a hostess who immediately figured out a solution to our seating debacle (all my fault) to ensure that we were accommodated immediately - to the young lady (I should have asked you your name) you were assertive and handled the situation flawlessly and I sincerely appreciate your kindness and professionalism while figuring out a solution. Bonus points, when my niece hit her head (again just a toddler being a toddler, not the establishment) the same hostess responded quickly with a bag of ice to help quell her pain. Truly personable and efficient and kudos to you! I hope you or your leadership read this and recognize who you are because you deserve the recognition for your professionalism and work ethic! In regards to the service, food and quality - I cannot say enough in terms of compliments. We are a vegetarian family and ordered a variety of plates including the hummus, bruschetta and a couple of pizzas (mushroom and grilled veggie). Each item was prepared with care and tasted delicious. None the less, very satisfied with the entire restaurant, their team and the food. I will definitely be back here with my family and would highly recommend without hesitation.
My second time for Sunday Brunch. Beautiful ambiance, staff are friendly and attentive. I met both owners and they are very down to earth. Food and drinks was good , must try their Mac and cheese and key lime pie. I love that there's music in the background..
Great indoor and outdoor seating with earthy decor and open view of kitchen with amazing pizzas to choose from. Great American flare with some delicious main entrees as well but awesome shareable appetizers. Two story restaurant and very modern.
Hip restaurant in yorba linda for groups with drinks and nice food. My favorite was the sea bass and the crab ceviche. The food was tasty but pricey. Service was good, waitress was very nice - greeters were not as helpful to our group.
I've passed by Terra Wood-Fired Kitchen several times and finally decided to try it. I've definitely been missing out as the food was delicious. A friend and I came around 6:30pm on a Thursday evening with reservations, and we were able to get seated within a few minutes. Per their name, pretty much everything on their menu is wood-fired. I decided to try the "BBQ Chicken Pizza" ($20) and I loved every bite of it. The pizza had great flavor and the texture of the crust had a slight chew which I really enjoyed. Personally, I found the pizza to be a bit smaller than I was anticipating as it was more of a personal sized pizza which I was able to eat on my own so if you're looking to share, it may not be filling enough for two people. However, size aside, the pizza was delicious. For dessert, we decided to try the "Brioche Bread Pudding Souffle" ($18) which was amazing. The dish came out piping hot with a scoop of fresh whipped cream for a great contrast. The exterior of the bread pudding was crunchy and crisp while the inside was soft and creamy with studs of chocolate chunks throughout. It felt a bit small for $18, but I would still recommend this be something you order if you haven't tried it before. I think it just felt small to me because it was so good that I wanted more! The ambiance was relaxed and I really enjoyed the outdoor patio where we sat which made me feel like I was dining at a winery. If you're looking for good pizza or food in Yorba Linda, look no further than Terra Wood-Fired.
